Woodhouse

Solo build 2025 Personal project

Self-built task manager replacing Asana.

Woodhouse is the task system I built for myself after off-the-shelf tools stopped fitting how I work. It replaced Asana as my daily driver and now runs my day-to-day.

It is a local dashboard backed by a private GitHub repo through an Express proxy. Tasks, notes, and project context live close to the work, so it stays lightweight while still giving me real structure. AI agents read and write tasks directly, which is the part the off-the-shelf tools could not do.

The point of Woodhouse is simple: I build the systems I need. The tool adapts to the workflow instead of the workflow bending around the tool.
